Programmable Pulling System (PPS)
The Hogg & Davis Programmable Pulling System (PPS), provides a new level of overhead conductor installation control. Standard on H&D ODP-100 and ODP-200 models (shown above, center), this computer-controlled system compensates for changing reel diameter throughout a pull.
An operator can set, and maintain, constant, maximum Pull Force and Line Speed without any level of hydraulic adjustment. Infinite speed adjustment to maximums, and electronic safety functions, make these two of the easiest pullers on the market to operate.
