Our Paint Booth is Ready for Business

NESCO's 20' wide x 16' high x 58' long paint booth accomodates most vehicles. The Global Finishing Solutions crossdraft spraybooth with baking capabilities means we can do the job right. Our 9’x15’ mix room eliminates  contamination while mixing primers and paints.
We use Dupont Imron 2.8 PR Polyurethane Primer for excellent corrosion protection, excellent adhesion and chemical/solvent resistance. Dupont Imron 3.5 High Gloss Polyurethane Paint (Formerly Imron 333M) gives outstanding gloss retention with UV protection, excellent chemical resistance, excellent abrasion resistance.

  1. Degrease and wash off all dirt, grime, grease
  2. Disassemble all lights, decals, mirrors, moldings
  3. Masked and prepped for sandblasting as required
  4. Bodywork and prep work – repair of dents, rust holes, pits, and cracks in fiberglass. Sand to remove any chips or scratches, and to ensure proper primer adhesion
  5. Blow off sand and dust, completely wipe down with a wax and grease remover. Mask as needed for overspray
  6. Apply one coat of Dupont’s Polyurethane Primer, then two coats of Dupont’s Imron Polyurethane Enamel
  7. Unmask, the masked for other colors – fuel tanks, steps, frame, and rear bumper
  8. Unmask and re-assemble, with new manufacturer decals. A non-skid coating is applied to walk areas for safety.
  9. Sandblast the wheels and hubs, lift the unit and remove the wheels, prime and paint the wheels. Spray hubs, studs, and lug nuts for a factory appearance. Re-install the wheels and torque as needed.
